Cameron Scott Davis

Bio

Cameron Scott Davis was born and raised in rural Oregon in the 1980’s. The youngest of 3 boys (all professional artists) Cameron attended the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD ’05) majoring in illustration. He soon landed a job as a character designer/concept artist for video games such as Activision's Tony Hawk and Guitar Hero franchises.

In 2009 he took an entertainment industry sabbatical and set out on his own to work on a personal project, writing and illustrating a series of graphic novels titled Sleepwalker.

Cameron was later hired as a visual development artist for DreamWorks Animation in Glendale, CA where he learned how much he has yet to learn.

Having left DWA to pursue the dream that has become the Sleepwalker universe, Cameron currently divides his time between Portland, OR and Los Angeles, CA. In 2013 Cameron founded his own company Idea Boy LLC which is dedicated to "Intellectual Property generation and production for entertainment and the betterment of humanity."

Cameron has taught at the Gnomon School of Visual Effects in Hollywood and has been a guest lecturer at schools such as Otis, Art Center, and The Union event in Sao Paolo, Brazil.
